Dookey Dash will be playable by anyone with a sewer pass, including those purchased on the secondary market. It’s clear that this new NFT mint, which kicked off on December 21 with a silly animated NSFW video titled “The Trial of Jimmy the Monkey,” is part of Yuga’s larger plans to create an interoperable metaverse to develop an experience called “The Other Side.”
Players will be able to purchase land through the platform and transform their current NFTs into playable characters.”All the projects we have are very important to us,” Wylie Aronow, one of the co-founders of Yuga Labs, said in an interview with CoinDesk last month. “Where we see the other side is at this intersection. According to the roadmap for Yuga Labs’ latest project, the NFTs created from this month-long experiment will be part of a post-date narrative experience called “Chapter 1.”
