Budweiser switches to NFT rankings for the FIFA World Cup
The latest NFT collection from beer giant Budweiser will feature live scores for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The Budverse x FIFAWorldCup Live Scoreboard NFT Collection released today 10 v. Minters can also claim a World Cup Starter Kit, access Discord and a beginner-only mini-game, and win a trip to the FIFA World Cup Finals in Doha. The company has expanded its Web3 offering over the last year.
Budweiser has listed 12 other NFT collections on OpenSea, 11 from its royalty line of collaborations with up-and-coming musicians, as well as its first collection, Budverse Cans Heritage Edition. The latter released the company last November as its first NFT collection. With a current reserve price of 0.34 ETH, this newest mint offers an additional benefit for collection owners: you can claim a free NFT token. Budweiser isn’t the only drink to hit NFTs.
Pepsi launched its Mic Drop NFTs in December. Bud Light, which like Budweiser is owned by Anheuser-Busch, launched its first collection in January. The FIFA World Cup kicks off on November 20th in the Qatari capital, Doha.
